Hi, my name is Shawn and I’m addicted to blogs. Not so much the personal blogs, but anything informational, both useful & useless. I just can’t get enough. I’ve got RSS readers both at home and at work and religiously check them periodically during the day in the hopes that I’ll pick up some useful tip on either web design or on using the Mac.
The last time I counted the list was at 67. That was last week so there might be one or two more in there now.
I don’t know what it is, I just like reading articles on how to do things differently or better than I am now. I often times skip over the personal ramblings of the author (if they mix in personal stuff) and just get to the meat of it.
Yeah, there are exceptions to this but I’m only interested in personal stuff if I know the person.
I’m not sure if its an affliction or not, but I’m addicted. No, I don’t think I need help or an intervention or anything like that, but I could use a few more hours in the day to read and write more…
Now, in case any of you are wondering what this huge list of blogs is, here they are in no particular order. And I’m sure I’m missing a few that I like to read but haven’t been added to the list yet, so if you don’t see your blog in this don’t feel rejected. After all, my acceptance shouldn’t mean anything to you anyway… just kidding.
Now I guess we get to see if my list code is up to snuff…
Ok, so there’s one non-web related blog in there but I like it because it makes fun of celebrities.
Oh. Look. I’m in there…
*goes back to building his web of power to take over the world* Er… I mean ;D
i hate you with a passion =P
I’ve got a dozen or so RSS thingies. You, sir, have an issue.
I’ve got 0… time 1946755.
times, even.
Am I the only one that gets the reference to "Addicted to Love" by Robert Palmer?
Or was that unintentional on your part there, Shawn?
That was fully intended. Were you alive when that was a hit?
No… born in ’87. But my mom raised me on 80′s pop… so I heart Robert Palmer ;D
Granted I think Tears for Fears and Mr. Mister is WAY better ;D
Duran Duran > Tears for Fears > Robert Palmer
